Feeling Pouty will be in the Small Works Show at Howard Manville Gallery in November as well.
This tiny gem is remniscent of a lovely afternoon with a friend and her two daughters in a lavender garden. We adults were much more enthusiastic than the girls about being there. This little one struck quintesscential pouty pose embodying how we all, especially us women can feel at times... feeling just a little pouty.
Aspen Spring will also be included in the Small Works Show at Howard Manville Gallery in November.
This little piece is a delight and memories of a beautiful spring day with some friends and their daughter. We were at a ranch, high in the Cascade Mountains in an Aspen Grove along a creek. The afternoon light streamed through the tree's and lit Britneys hair and the leaves of the trees.
I have been invited to participate in the:
22nd Annual Small Works Show
Howard Manville Gallery
November 17th through December 2nd.
This small piece, Ribbons in Her Hair, captures a distinctly feminine moment. She is in a contemplative mood as she fusses with her hair.
Welcome to my blog and website. As you explore this site, you will see that I enjoy painting people, especially young women and children, often set in a landscape. My work has been included in various national shows. Read more in the About the Artist.
