We had a great time at the Masterpiece Christian Artist Conference. Here are a few highlights below. Michael Dudash offered a special one day workshop with 12 students the day before the Conference started. My daughter Charity and I decided to go. Since we were on a ranch, our models were dressed in western attire. We painted Dustin, son of Karen Cain Smith. Here you see Michael painting. The next day we painted outside in the shade of an 1800's shed. Karen's daughter Keira posed on an antique buggy, with vintage look clothes, cowboy boots and hat, and a big bouquet of sunflowers. After lunch, we came back and the whole scene was in the sun, so we moved to a grove huge pines and painted another pose. Great fun... painting and friends, in beautiful place; what could be better? Here is a painting I did of Keira at home from a reference photo took that afternoon.
